    Jeff Smith
West Lafayette, IN - Indiana State Police say they will hold a check point targeting impaired drivers sometime between Tuesday, November 25, and Sunday, November 30. The check point will be held in Fountain County.

Officers from the Attica Police Department and the Fountain County Sheriff's Department will assist State Police in the check point.

State Police Sergeant David Murray said drivers encountering the check point will be delayed "for a few minutes" and be required to produce a valid license and registration. If all information is correct and there is no other reason to be detained, Murray said drivers would be released.

After the check point, State Troopers will conduct roving saturation patrols seeking impaired drivers throughout the district.
