    Police dogs, helicopter used in search in Hagerstown


    Police dogs and a Maryland State Police helicopter were used Tuesday afternoon in Hagerstown to search for a wanted man, according to a Washington County Sheriff's Department spokesman.


    The man, who was wanted on a warrant for failure to pay a fine, was spotted at Action Products Inc., on Sweeney Drive but then left there, said Lt. Tim Baker.


    The man was later found in a wooded area behind Lowe Distribution on Wesel Boulevard, Baker said.




    Vehicle reported stolen in Antrim Township


    GREENCASTLE, Pa. - Pennsylvania State Police are investigating the theft of a vehicle from an Antrim Township home that occurred between Sunday night and Monday morning.


    The black 2002 Isuzu Axiom sport utility vehicle was stolen from the home of Jasmine Campbell, 710 Franklin Court, between 10 p.m. Sunday and 7 a.m. Monday, police said.





    Man charged with damaging Chambersburg police cruiser


    CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - A Chambersburg man was charged with damaging a police cruiser after he was taken into custody for public drunkenness, according to the Chambersburg Police Department.


    Police said Steven L. Crawford, 40, of 300 S. Second St., Apt. B, also was charged with institutional vandalism in the 11 p.m. incident at Southgate Mall.


    When Crawford was placed in the cruiser, he kicked and damaged a window, police said.
