Howard Police Arrest 5 After Pizza Hut Robbery
Howard County police say they made five arrests after an armed robbery at a Pizza Hut restaurant in Clarksville.
Police say four masked gunman entered the restaurant about 10 p.m. Sunday. The robbers took money from the registers and the safe, then forced the employees into a freezer.
According to police, one of the employees called 911 from the freezer and described the getaway vehicle. A patrol officer stopped a vehicle matching the description in Columbia. Police say the four robbery suspects and a fifth person who was driving were arrested.
Investigators recovered several weapons and the suspected stolen cash
