Off-Duty City Police Officer Shot In Parkville
Mary Bubala PARKVILLE, Md. (WJZ) ― A Baltimore City police officer was rushed to Shock Trauma overnight, following a shooting in Baltimore County.
Shortly after midnight, officials say Baltimore County emergency crews took a severely injured Baltimore City police officer to Shock Trauma. The officer was reportedly shot at an apartment complex on Arbor Station Way.
While Baltimore County detectives will not tell Eyewitness News what happened there, several Baltimore City police officers did come to the scene overnight. Shell casings were marked along the street and the apartment's stairwell.
The officer was shot in the face and will undergo surgery at Shock Trauma.
