We know the name of the man shot to death by a state trooper this morning in Harford county.
Fifty two year old John Abbate broke into his sister's home on Lakeland drive in Fallston at around four thirty this morning and threatened to kill her.
Police say when a trooper and two deputies arrived they fought with Abbate in the house.
They even used a Taser, but troopers say it didn't stop the 300 pound man.
Police say Abbate choked a deputy and tried to grab his gun... That's when trooper Sean Harris shot and killed Abbate.
Trooper Harris has been placed on administrative leave and is recovering from his injuries.
