Delaware man charged with raping Md. girl

FEDERALSBURG - A Delaware man has been charged with raping a mentally challenged 15-year-old Caroline County girl and fathering her child, state police said.
Police charged 43-year-old David Kline of Newark, Del., today with first-degree rape and related sexual offenses.
Police said Kline entered the then-15-year-old girl's Federalsburg home in July 2005 while her mother was at work. After Kline tied her hands and covered her face, police said he drove to a remote spot in Dorchester County, where he raped the girl and she became pregnant.
Police said a paternity test shows that Kline is the father of the girl's child.
Kline was arrested last month as a fugitive in Delaware and was returned to Maryland today. He is being held without bail in the Dorchester County Detention Center.
