A Christian County man was taken to the hospital this morning after losing control on an ice-covered patch of U.S. 60 in Webster County, according to the Missouri Highway Patrol.

Lucas Clifford, 30, of Ozark was driving a 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier around 6:18 a.m. when he lost control of the vehicle.

The car slid off the right side of the roadway and struck a ditch, where it overturned.

Clifford suffered moderate injuries and was taken by ambulance to Cox South Hospital.

It is unknown whether Clifford was wearing a seat belt.
